The 47th European Brass Band Championships will take place in the Brucknerhaus, Linz 22-26 April 2026.
Together, the European Brass Band Association and the local organiser, Amt der Oö. Landesregierung, Direktion Kultur und Gesellschaft, Abteilung Kultur,
will host a week of inspiring competitive performances for bands and soloists in Linz.
The championships are an iconic celebration of brass banding and the highlight of the brass calendar in 2026.
In 2010, the Austrian team successfully hosted the European Brass Band Championships in the same city and hall, and it was a huge success. With this knowledge, the EBBC in 2026 is sure to be an excellent event.
Due to both the excitement for the EBBC 2026 and previous years as well as the size of Brucknerhaus, the tickets are likely to sell out quickly. We recommend getting your tickets as soon as they are released.

The general ticket sales for all European Brass Band Championships events will open at
11:00 (CET) 20 January via the Brucknerhaus website:

Ticket prices at the official sale
For EBBC 2026 it is possible to buy combi ticket for the contests, ticket for the gala concert and single tickets for the European Youth Brass Band Contest.
Combi ticket
The price for the combi ticket is EUR 148,50.
The free seating combi-tickets give access to the following events:
– Finale of the European Soloist Competition, Thursday 23 April
– Championship section, set-test piece, Friday 24 April
– Challenge section and Championship section, own choice, Saturday 25 April
– European Youth Brass Band Championship, Sunday 26 April
Gala concert
The gala-concert will have fixed seating, and the choice of seats decide the price.
