We are delighted to share the news that the finale of the 9th European Composers Competition will be played by the Cory Band, Thursday 2 May 2024, in the Palanga Concert Hall.

The Cory Band is one of the most successful brass bands in modern times, and has been the No.1 ranked brass band in the World for countless years. Cory regularly wins both domestic and international brass band competitions and performs a widely varied repertoire of music at home and abroad to a professional standard.

Invitation to the European Composers Competition
Composers are invited to submit an original composition for brass band (section 1 or 2 level) of maximum 12 minutes duration. The competition will consist of one preliminary round and the live finale, for the three or four best entries.
Applicants must have been born on or after 1 January 1989.
Closing date for entries is 15 January 2024.
